Appliance Spares Warehouse is a retail chain, with 14 staff, selling spare parts for electrical and white good products from two stores in Melbourne.

Before signing up with engin, they spent $1,500 a month with Telstra. Their Managing Director, Philip Dunn switched to engin. With the help of our customer support team he found the engin Voice Box extremely easy to set up and "had the service working within a couple of hours".

Since then he continues to use the Telstra line to receive phone calls on his advertised number, but the outgoing calls are with engin, resulting in consistent monthly savings averaging $300-$400 per month.

John Macey is a partner at OzBiz Solutions, a software development company that specialises in accounting integration capabilities to MYOB and QuickBooks. Located in Nambucca Heads, with clients across Australia, timed STD and regional calls were a significant cost for the business. With a company mission of "Saving Time and Money In Managing Your Business" they were keen to keep business communication expenses down, without compromising on service and customer demands.

They used an engin 1way service as a secondary line, so outgoing calls could be made at engin's rates. Thanks to the flat 10c rate across Australia, OzBiz cut their phone bill from $140 per month down to $80, including their engin bill and the line rental charges from Telstra. “Not bad for a small business!” says John Macey.

Since 2005 Mezzanine-Media has been using engin for all outgoing business calls and as a secondary line for incoming calls. They're making an average saving of 37% per month and are enjoying the useful features that come with the engin service, such as call forwarding and V-mail, that forwarded voicemail messages to an email inbox.
